Let me introduce you to... René Hervé of René Hervé & Son

René Hervé is the owner and director of the family run company ‘Rene Herve & Son Ltd’, serving the channel island of Guernsey. René is an established member of the Bygone sash windows network, having joined the scheme in the later part of 2011.

René is very personable and a delight to work with, regardless of the odd difficulty. Being open to the elements, Guernsey has presented the odd challenge for us in terms of weather, that we haven’t previously had at Bygone. Heavy snow or the odd storm has its effects on channel crossings and we have had to work hard, together, to ensure our customers’ expectations have been met, on occasion. René's positive attitude is refreshing at times and it’s easy to see why he garners so many recommendations from around the island.

René came to us, primarily as a joiner, and this still comes through with his personal touch, wealth of knowledge, and interest in timber. It’s flattering to think that someone working with wood for so many years is also happy working with the Bygone range.

René Hervé  & Son is a father and son business that has been trading for many years.  We have in depth experience in the construction of this type of windows and now do replacement and repairs on window frames. This is the reason why we were so keen to be involved with the Bygone Collection as the windows are a copy of the timber windows we worked with.  We now install Bygone windows on Guernsey under the trade name of ‘Bygone Installations Guernsey’.
